			<content:encoded><![CDATA[Todays final stage was just 14,5 km but with a steep final climb of 4km and a spectacular finish at the Tiger's Nest monastery in 3100m in altitude. 
All runners have finished, happy and proud of what they have achieved this week. 200km in 6 days, 10000m ascent and 8000m descent.
Fastest runner today was Manu Pastor fighting down overall winner Salva Calvo by just 2 minutes. Third place today went to Australian Gus Murray.
As in the 5 previous stages joined female winner today were Sophie Power and Zenia Inselmann. Third place again went to Charla Heimer.
Overall winner in the mens category was Salva Calvo ahead of Manu Pastor, both from Spain. Third place went to Stefan Sigron from Switzerland.
Overall joined female winner are Zenia Inselmann from Denmark and Britain Sophie Power ahed of American Charla Heimer.
Tonights award ceremony starts with a local cultural show and ends with a buffet dinner at the Zhiwa Ling Hotel in Paro.]]></content:encoded>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[Todays 52km stage went around Paro valleys and finished at the ruin of Drukyal Dzong. All runners now have finished the stage tired but in a good shape and looking forward to the final stage tomorrow with its finish&nbsp; at the Taktshang Goemba (Tiger's Nest).
Impressive performance today from Jo Petersen from New Zealand, finishing second just 13 minutes behind Spain Salvador Calvo. Third place today went today to Manu Pastor. Finishing arm in arm on fourth place David Mora and Stefan Sigron crossed the finish line.
As usual, joined winner in the women category today were Sophie Power and Zenia Inselmann followed by Charla Heimer.
Tomorrows stage is just 14,5 km but with a steep climb of 4 km and 700m in altitude to the Tiger's Nest.

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[Todays 37km stage started at The Pajoding Monastery at 3600m altitude. Runners crossed the highest point of the week, the Pumula pass at 3724m before running 8km downhill through the forest to checkpoint 1. A long  climb of 10km to the next pass of 3400m had to be run before rúnning downhill again, crossing some rice fields before entering the camp at a local farmhouse.
At the farmhouse all runners had the opportunity to use a tradional hot stone bath to relax.
First runner crossing the finish line was again Salva Calvo from Spain again followed by Manu Pastor and Swiss Stefan Sigron. Again leading women were jointly Sophie Power joined by Zenia Inselmann followed by American Charla Heimer.
Impressiv performance today from Chris Lewis from the UK, seriously injured at yesterdays football match against the young monks at Pajoding monastery, he started and finished the stage with real pain but in a good mood.
No changes today in th overall ranking, still in lead are both Spain runners Salva Calvo and Manu Pastor followed by Stephan Sigron. Womens overall leader are jointly Sophie Power and Zenia Inselmann followed By Charla Heimer.
Tomorrows stage is with 52km the longest of the week and will finish at the ruins of Drukyal Dzong.

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[Todays stage 2 was designed with 28,7 km passing the Sinchula pass (3450m) followed by 9km downhill.
Leading man again was Spain Salva Calvo foolowed by Swiss Stefan Sigron and Spain Manu Pastor. Joined female winners of stage 2 were Sophie Power (GB), Zenia Inselmann (DK) and Charla heimer (USA) running the entire stage together.
All 36 runners have now finished the stage with Philipine Maria Theresa Villanueva finishing last after 14hrs but with an impressive good mood and motivation.
Tomorrows stage 3 will be 28km with a final 6km climb of 100m in altitude to the Pajoding monastery where the runners&nbsp; stay overnight in the rooms of the young monks.]]></content:encoded>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[After a very emotional start ceremony with 500 students from the Punakha Secondary Highschool singing the national antherm of Bhutan the governor of the Punakha district started the race at Punakha Dzong. 36 runners from 16 nations were accompanied by the youngest schoolchildrens on the first meters before running stage one with 30,7 km. Finish was at the Chorten Nyngbo Monastery.
First male was Salvador Calvo from Spain in a time of 2:57h followed by his fellow countryman Manu Pastor. Third was Swiss Stefan Sigron just ahead of Jo&nbsp; Petersen from New Zealand and Gus Murray from Australia.
Jointly finishing first in the women catergory was Zenia Inselmann from Denmark and Sophie Power from Great Britain. Joint third place went to Karen Wei from Canada and Charla Heimer from USA.
Tomorrows stage will one of the thougest in the week, just 29km but climbing the first 19km&nbsp; 1700m in altitude passing the Sinchula Pass (3400m) before running downhill the last 10km&nbsp; to the next camp in a local farmhouse.]]></content:encoded>
