Race Report Stage 2 - Cambodia -

The Ancient Khmer Path continues after we waved goodbye to our local hosts. Today is both challenging and interesting - 24 km of flat running before the runners turn into the jungle that hosts the Preah Khan temple complex.

It was breezy early in the morning but as the sun rises, the shades faded away adding more challenges to the race. At any way, our runners were undeterred and continued the competition. The male category stays the same: Stan Lee from Canada finished first again. Micheal Mueller from the Canada keeps his second place followed by Carlos Guerreiro from Portugal. In the female category, for Ita Marzotto from Italy stayed strong and finished again in 4:06hrs, Kristine Self from Canada stayed in the second. Teresa Lam from HK stays the third place in the female category.

Special to mention today is Frank Alvarez from Mexico who ran a steady pace and finished 9th.
Hong Kyungpyo from Korea finished in an impressive 13th place.

Tonight, the runners are camping in front of the main facade of the beautiful Preah Khan temple and prepare for tomorrow‘s 62.6 km long stage.
