Breaking News: Race Report Stage 2 São Tome
The second stage of the GlobalLimits Saõ Tomé - The Hemisphere Crossings started at 6am local time this morning with a slight downhill jog in the lush jungle of Monte Café; and the runners also run through several local villages where locals welcomed and cheered for the runners. They passed several beautiful waterfalls before they arrived at the finish line in front of Pousada Bombaim.
The Saõ Tomé runner Kinderly Batista eads the race again followed again by Portuguese Samuel Castela by one minute.3rd today was Ineias Almeida from São Tomé.At the lady‘s side, Filipa Castela from Portugal showed her impressive power of recovery and became first today. Carolina Silver from Portugal stayed at the second place and Christina Khnaist is third today. In the overall ranking Carolina is still in lead ahead of Christina and Filipa now in third.
Tomorrow we starts to head south and will be arriving at the coast.
