Breaking News - Stage 4 Race Report – The journey to the Yurts
Stage 4 is the longest stage of GlobalLimits Uzbekistan - Footsteps of Alexander the Great — a 65km test of endurance, focus, and grit. Today was all about rhythm and mental strength as the group moved across long, flat terrain under the open sky.
The course was fast and straight in many parts, a big change from the hills of yesterday. Runners passed by a large, shimmering lake and continued through small villages where locals came out to cheer.
Tonight’s camp is in a traditional yurt camp set in the wide, open steppe. The group gathered to rest, recover, and share stories from the day.
To celebrate their incredible achievement, a pilaf/ Plov party is organized — big plates of warm, local food served under the stars. After 65 km, every bite tasted like a reward. There was laughter, applause, and quiet moments of pride.
