Breaking News- Race Report Stage 4 - Cambodia
Today’s stage offers an opportunity to recover, with a secluded finish line by the Kulen waterfall and the renowned 1000 Lingas, allowing for moments of rest in the shade beside a refreshing river. In this 27km stage, the runners encounter the enchanting elephant temples in the middle of a mysterious jungle and a landscape distinct from the previous stages. For those who may have grown tired of flat trails, today provides the perfect opportunity to showcase your climbing talents.
Nathan Montague from England continues his quest to becoming the champion male of the race and regained his overall champion status again. Kim Kok from Cambodia followed in second. The big surprise of the day was the 3rd rank if Raphael Bonatto from Brazil who finished smiling and fresh as if he just comes from a easy jog.
In the female category, Claire Thevenet won the stage; Teresa Lam from Hong Kong is second; and Deborah Koh from Singapore is now ahead of Lynn Robinson. A big step closer to our finishing line in Angkor Wat!
