Breaking News - Stage 2 Race Report – Uzbekistan

Stage 2 of the 230 km, 6-stages, GlobalLimits Uzbekistan - Footsteps of Alexander the Great - took our group from the open wilderness into the heart of local life. After a night under the stars, we continued 37,9km along a peaceful course toward an Uzbek village.

It is windy day and the course brings us crossing many rolling hills and several peaceful Uzbek villages.

We now camped in a school yard at the edge of the village. It’s a quiet, traditional Uzbek place — very different from the energy we’ve felt in other races like São Tomé or Cambodia. There is no traffic, no loud voices — just stillness and friendly smiles.

Local children watched with curiosity as runners set up tents and stretched out tired legs.

The weather is sunny with little clouds, and we’re hoping it holds as we continue the journey tomorrow.
