Race Report Stage 4 - Albania
After a night of good rest under the stars by the lake, GlobalLimits Albania - The Hidden Treasure runners are ready for another 38,7km running. They left the camp at 7am and run through the village of Lazarat before climbing up the 1340m high mountains and reach the top for a panoramic view of Corfu and the Ionian Sea. They then descent to the village of Delvine and climb through another mountain and reach the finishing line at an ancient monastery of Mesopotam. They will spend the evening by the famous monastery and enjoy a cool dip in the nearby river.
Another impressive performance by Erin Drasler from the US finishing the stage as the overall winner in 5:15hrs. Second today was Harri Washington from the UK getting faster every day. 3rd was Austrian Christina Khinast.
Male winner was once again Albanian pride Arden Shati despite heavy back pain today. Second again German Martin Dittberner and third again Eilon Amron.
Slight changes in the female overall ranking with Erin Drasler still in lead, second still Christina Khinast and third now Harri Washington overtaking Teresa lam who is 4th now. Betwenn te 2nd and 4th woman are just 15mins. Looks as it is getting an exciting stage tomorrow.
