Stage 4

Stage 4 is finished now. Runners had to run 10km on an asphalted r oad in the heat of Cambodia before entering the Kulen mountains. A sharp climp of 350m in altitude by a distance of 2km was the first climp overall so far. The final 15km the runners had to run on the ridge of the hill, passing a lot of aboriginal villages and temples before coming down to the spectacular Kulen Mountain Waterfalls.

It was the first time the runners had the opportunity to take a frech bath in the waterfalls. To celebrate the birthday of Valerie Levai GlobalLimits has invited all participants for a dinner at the waterfalls.

In a final sprint Manuel Pastor from Spain fighted down his compatriot Salvador Calvo by 2 seconds, finishing in 3:12h. Third man was Canadian Paul Trebilock in 3:28h followed by French Fabien Debaucheron.

Aisling Coppinger won the women categorie in an impressive manner with 3:53h. Second was birthday girl Valerie Levai in 4:06h followed by Dutch Julia Romanovai in 4:32h.

The so far overall leading woman Sophie Power had to step back from the start due to circulation problems.

The overall ranking changed again on the third mens palce. Paul Trebilock is now third behind leading Salvador Calvo and Manuel Pastor second.

The overall lead in the women categorie was taken now by Asling Coppinger, second is Vlerie Levai and third now Julia Romanova.
