Breaking News - Race Report Stage 4 - Bhutan
With their tired legs - we suppose - the runners of the 8th edition GlobalLimits Bhutan - The Last Secret - started their morning reaching the highest point of the race at 3712m and raced down to 2600m for a short rest before reaching up to 3400m for a good view for the Paro Valley - and finally another descent to the heart of the valley.
As a token of appreciation to their efforts in the football match yesterday and also an appreciation of a wonderful local culture - today’s finishers got to enjoy a reinvigorating traditional Bhutanese stone bath - we hope their muscles are not too relaxed as the long stage is waiting for them in less than 24 hours.
Quite warm day. The sunshine the whole day gave the runners a spectacular view to the mountains and valleys around Thimphu and Paro.
