Stage 3 GlobalLimits Bhutan - The Last Secret guides the runners through the breathtaking Thimphu Valley, passing villages and pine forests.
Before reaching the camp at the Phajoding Monastery, they climbed 9km up reaching 3600m and prepared for one of the highest football matches in Bhutan.
We must admit defeat again for losing the football match against the monks in Phajoding Monastery. Congratulations!
Special thanks to Australian runner Philip Best who generously brought over and donate plenty pairs of football boots to the monks.
The runners are spending the night in the monks' quarters, immersed in the serene atmosphere of this sacred place. We wish them a goodnight rest.
