Breaking News - Race Report Stage 4 - Bhutan
With weary legs but unbroken spirits, the runners of the 9th edition of GlobalLimits Bhutan - The Last Secret - began their morning by reaching the highest point of the race at 3712m. From there, they raced down to 2600m for a brief rest at checkpoint 1 before climbing back up to 3400m, where they were rewarded with a stunning view of the Paro Valley. Finally, they descended into the heart of the valley, completing another challenging and unforgettable stage of the race.
Today's finishers were treated to a rejuvenating traditional Bhutanese stone bath. We hope their muscles aren't too relaxed, as the long stage awaits them in less than 24 hours.
Special mention: Despite a serious injury, our Bhutanese female representative Tashi Chozom still completed the stage with high spirit but has lost her overall leading position.! We cheers for her sportswomanship.
Mom and daughter Sarah and Josie Kucera from the UK finished first today together again strong and cheerful. Both jointly overtook the overall leading position now.
