Longest Day Challenge - 54km through the Paro Valley
Today's stage brought our runners 54km through the picturesque Paro Valley, taking them a significant step closer to the finish line. The top 18 runners began at 7am, while the rest set off at 6am, navigating a course that took them past the iconic Paro fortress, the bustling airport, and the main town. They also ran through paddy fields and reached the foot of the hill where the famous Tiger's Nest monastery is perched. The finish line awaited them at the historic Drukyal Fortress overlooking the beautiful.

Second male: Sonam Chophel/Bhutan
Third male: Anton Schäfer/Germany
First female: Josie Kucera/UK
Second female: Tashi Chozom//Bhutan
Third female: Sarah Kucera/UK
Overall in the male category Anton Schäfer is still in a comfortable lead ahead of Sonam Chophel. Joshua Riff gained the 3rd rank but Oliviero Alotto just 4mins behind in fourth.
Female overall leading is still Josie Kucera who extended her lead to 59mins now ahead and f her mother Sarah Kucera. Tashi Chozom regained her podium place now in third.
Tomorrow’s final stage brings the runners to the most spectacular finish line, the Tiger‘s Nest monastery.
