Breaking News: Race Report Stage 2 - Sao Tomé
Monte Café is home to São Tomé’s first bottled water plant, providing our runners with pure, delicious water. Has the Monte Café’s excellent organic coffee given extra energy to the runners this morning?
The second stage of GlobalLimits São Tomé – The Hemisphere Crossing started at 6 am with a slight downhill jog through the lush jungle of Monte Café. Runners passed several villages and plantations, glimpsing local life, and crossed beautiful waterfalls before finishing at the former Pousada of Bombaim.
Hiroki Okada from Japan is very strong today finishing 5th overall.

Second: Jackson Clementino/Sao Tomé
Third: Björn van Camp/Belgium
Women’s:
First: Teresa Lam/Hongkong
Second: Claire Thevenet/France
Third: Carmen Tyler/ UK
Yuya and Teresa overtook the overall lead now.
In the shorter devision of 22km Roma Puisiene was first again.
