Breaking News - Cambodia - Pre Race Report:
Today marked the beginning of an extraordinary adventure for participants of the 11th GlobalLimits Cambodia - The Ancient Khmer Path, a 220km, 6-stage ultramarathon. Runners from various corners of the world arrived at the first camp, a local temple and community hall, where they were welcomed with a detailed briefing on the six-day journey ahead.
The race will take participants along the ancient Khmer Path, leading to the iconic Angkor Wat, the symbol of Cambodia’s rich history and culture. Over the course of their journey, runners will immerse themselves in the diverse landscapes and heritage of the region, experiencing the essence of local life. Of course, it is also an event to challenge their physical and mental limits.
From verdant rice fields to serene villages, each day promises unique vistas and insights into Cambodia’s traditions and latest developments.
Tomorrow, the runners will lace up their shoes and set off on this transformative expedition, blending physical endurance with cultural discovery.
