Race Report Stage 4 - Cambodia 2022

We are moving closer to Angkor Wat!

After a strenuous long stage and a short rest in the Prasat Beng Mealea Temple, our runners with their blistered feet and tired bodies are on their way again for the 29km stage moving towards the famous Kulen Waterfall. After some mined-exploding endless roads in the long stage, today they are finding tranquility in the jungle climbing up to the hidden Elephant Temple and continue to the waterfalls.

After this stage, they can soak themselves in the soothing river water and enjoy the magnificent view of the Kulen waterfalls.

Kurt Dhont from Belgium continues his quest to becoming the champion male of the race and stays in his overall champion status. Harri Washington from the UK was winning the stage today and is now just 4:48mins behind overall leading woman Teresa Lam from Hongkong.

Stan Lee from Canada stays in his second male place. While Ruud de Vette from the Netherlandd, despite problem with the heat, finished the stage with smiles and defended his 3rd rank.

The big surprise of the day was the 7th position of Philippine Arthur Chu.

Tomorrow is a 44,1km stage moving a big step closer to our finishing line in Angkor Wat.
