Breaking News - Race Report Stage 1 - Uzbekistan
We kicked off Stage 1 of the inaugural GlobalLimits Uzbekistan with energy and massive bowls of Uzbekistan’s national dish - Plov: our secret weapon for carbo-loading. With bellies full and legs itching to move, we took our first strides into this vast and beautiful land.
The course on Day 1 of 32,5km wound through turquoise streams, wild horses and sheeps. The terrain was a mix of packed dirt tracks and rugged countryside trails.
At the end of the stage, we arrived at out first camp by the lake - the runners will be camping and resting under the stars in wilderness tonight.
There’s a sense of real remoteness here — the kind that makes every step feel earned.
One stage down, 5 more to go. Spirits are high, legs are strong (for now), and the road ahead looks as wild and wonderful as ever.
