Today all participants went by bus over the 3100m high Sechula Pass and visited the most beautiful fortress in Bhutan, the Punakha Dzong.

Now everybody is in the first camp situated at the river next to the Dzong. Opening race-briefing, course introduction and medical briefing took place already and participants now enjoy the dinner served by the local staff in traditional Bhutanese tents.

Start of the 200km stage race is tomorrow morning 8am local time expecting runners from 16 different nations.
