Here we come, the beautiful island of São Tomé. All 60 runners from 28 countries arrived safely last night and went straight to the welcoming dinner, where they caught up with their GlobalLimits friends, tasted the local beer, and enjoyed the local hospitality.

The official opening poolside dinner just took place tonight after the medical and equipments checks. The minister of Sports and the minister of Tourism were present to welcome our runners in the first ever ultra running event in São Tome.

Tomorrow all the runners will try their legs first time in São Tomé. GlobalLimits has organised a 5km prologue run in the historical city center of the city, where the locals are welcome to join us for the fun. After the race there will be a lucky draw for the locals participants.
