The long stage of the race with a 52,9 km course in a very hot and humid day.
The stage was won once again by Stephan Vernay, followed by Bjorn van Camp and 1st female Véronique Messina.
Sanath Bandara finished at the 2nd place of the stage, but unfortunately got a 2x 30min penalty for not following the race's rules.
The surprises of the day were the really good performances of Thomas Watson from Great Britain in 6h31mn - 10th place -, and Frank Alvarez, from Mexico, who finished at 14th place in 7h02mn.
Everybody arrived safely at camp 5, in a local village, were the runners sleep in the village's houses (the Global Limit's style of Air BnB!).
