Race Report stage 4 – GlobalLimits Bhutan 2014
Todays stage 4 brought the runners down from the Phajoding monastery to checkpoint 1 before they had to run a 8km steep climp to 3400m before running again 10km down to the Paro valley . After a. loop through the paddy fields they arrived at the camp in a local farmhouse.
The 37km with a total descent of 3000m.was won again by Mark Tamminga followed by Paul Brady and Masanao Kobayashi. Women winner was again Georgina Ayre ahead of Joany Verschuuren and todays strong performing Christine Horner.
No changes in the men overall ranking but Christine Horner took over the third rank in the female classement behind Ayre and Verschuuren.
Great race today by Indian runner Shalen Shivpuri who finished the stage as 11st and Megan Davies who finished 4th in the women categorie.
