Race preview Cambodia 2013:

All 31 runners, representing 18 nations, have arrived safely in Phnom Penh yesterday and successfully have passed the medical and equipment check.

Participants are now on their way to the first camp where the race will start tomorrow at 8am local time.

In the mens category it is expected to be a close fight between defending champion Salvador Calvo from Spain and Stephan Vernay from France.

Totally open is the race in the womens category where most of the female starters are able to finish on the podium.

An impressive and unusual challenge will be taken by blind runner Yong Sul Kim from Korea, who will be guided through the course by his close friend Gyeoung Su Kim.

The oldest starter in the race is 67 year old Hansjuerg Moser from Switzerland and youngest is 23 year old Vàclav Vacic from Czech Republic.

Kao Vannarin is the first ever Cambodian starter in a multi day stage race.
