Doing Good:

GlobalLimits is dedicated to charitable efforts that help local communities to achieve their goals,

Here are some of our projects,

Phajoding Monastery in Bhutan:

Phajoding Monastery was one of the most improvised due to its location in the high altitude of 3600m.  To reach the nearest road to the Monastery required a 2.5 hours hike.   It hosts and provides education to about 80 young boys from underprivileged background.

Every year, GlobalLimits sponsors the living and education expenses for young monks in the Monastery.  All runners have a chance to experience the life of a monk at our camp at the end of Stage 3!

Chorten Ngingpo Monastery in Bhutan:

Sponsoring an English teacher for a year for monks in the Chorten Ngingpo Monastery (camp 2) in Bhutan.

Siem Reap Hospital/Cambodia:

GlobalLimits has provided people in need in the hospital of Siem Reap/Cambodia with 200 portions of dinner.

These people do not get any food support during their stay at the hospital and rely purely on donations. In the time of pandemic donations are very rare so it is a great pleasure for us to support them. Many thanks to our dear local friend, Theavy Seek (សិក ធាវី), for preparing the food, packing it into environmental friendly lotus leaves and hand it out one by one to the people in the hospital.

This initiative was already joined by some runners who donated food as well. In case anybody would like to join us in supporting the people in need in Cambodia please let me know.
