The Peaks of the Balkans is a network of stunning mountain trails located at the intersection of Albania, Montenegro, and Kosovo. The Accursed Mountains (also known as the Prokletije Mountains) dominate the Peaks of the Balkans, forming a natural boundary and breathtaking backdrop between the three countries.
Renowned for its dramatic landscapes and diverse ecosystems, this area is a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts and adventure seekers. These villages, such as Theth, Valbona, and Plav, offer unique cultural experiences and a glimpse into traditional Balkan life. The trails that weave through these areas not only attract adventure seekers but also foster sustainable tourism that helps preserve local culture and promote economic development.
