Bhutan - final stage

With a spectacular finish at the Tiger’s Nest, the 3rd edition of GlobalLimits Bhutan – The Last Secret – ended after 14,5km.

The 3rd edition of GlobalLimits Bhutan – The Last Secret, finished spectacularly at the Tiger’s Nest Monastery after the runners finished their final stage of 14.5km. 

Saudi Arabian runner Mo Foustok led the way until the end and became the winner of the race finishing at 24:12 hrs.  British runner William Mc Millan and Canadian runner Chris Hum was the second runner-up of the race.  Marcia Zhou of the USA overtook French runner Isabelle Dufour in the final stage and won the overall female category, leading the race by 2 minutes and 17 seconds.  Canadian runner Chloe Onofrychuk is the third fastest female of the race.  Exceptional 92% of the runners finished the race followed by a short tour at the Tiger’s Nest Monastery.

The Award ceremony took place in the 5-stars Zhiwa Ling Hotel in Paro with Honorable Dasho Ugyun Tshechup, the oncle of the present king, presenting the top three prizes to the male and female winners.
