Breaking News - Race Report Stage 2 - Uzbekistan
Stage 2 of GlobalLimits Uzbekistan - Footstep of Alexander the Great - of 38km brings the participants from the open wilderness into the heart of local life.
The course is calm and steady, with wide views and little noise — just the sound of feet on dirt and wind in the grass. As we approached the village, the scenery changed. We passed small farms, fruit trees, and quiet homes.
Tonight we camp in a local schoolyard at the edge of the village. It’s a traditional Uzbek place — there is no traffic, no loud voices — just stillness, herds, and friendly smiles from locals.
We are hoping the good weather holds as we continue the journey tomorrow. 160km, 4 more stages to go.
