Breaking News - Race Report Stage 4 - Cambodia 2019

After a streneous long stage and a short rest in the Prasat Beng Mealea Temple, our runners are on their way again for the 29km stage moving towords the renowned Kulen Waterfall. The course includes a very steep climb to the top of the Kulen mountain, where the runners have a panoramic view of the region. Eventually, they will arrive at check point two where they have a glimpse of the beautiful elephant temple. After this stage, they can soak themselves in the soothing river water and enjoy the magnificent view of the waterfalls.Tommy Chen from Taiwan and Samuel Castela from Portugal jointly won the stage in 2:46hrs. Tomas Sundman from Denmark came in third in 2:56hrs.Unfortunately podium candidate Frank Johansen couldn’t start today anymore as he is suffering with a heavy cold and fever for a week already.Overall female leader Ruth Viane from Belgium crossed the finishline hand in hand with Joyce Forier from the USA. Joyce is now third overall behind Sharon Harper.Strong day for Amy Sparks from NZL finishing as 6th woman and German Peter Schlieder who came in 4th man.

Tomorrow is a 44,1km stage moving a big step closer to our finishing line in Angkor Wat!
