Date

The event starts on Sunday, September 5th 2027 and finishes on Monday, September 13th.  All runners meet at the Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary.

Arrival/Departure airport should be King Msati III International Airport/Eswatini.

The Race

The race starts in at the Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary.

The race course is projected to be 230km held in 6 stages with a total elevation gain of 9.500m and loss of 8.900m.

The final finish of the race is on top of the Sibebe Rock, the second largest monolith on Earth.

Cut-off times

GlobalLimits does not impose a general cut-off time for the race. However, the organizer reserves the right to establish cut-off times for specific stages to ensure the safety of the runners.

Mandatory equipments

The participants are required to bring all the mandatory equipment and food supply as required by the race organizer (see attached equipment list).

Each participant has to carry his/ her mandatory racing equipment during the race (day pack only!) The list of mandatory equipment has been reduced to the minimum!

Food and personal belongings packed in one bag, not exceeding 10kg in weight, will be transported from camp to camp.

Logistics

GlobalLimits provides the camp infrastructure and cold/ warm water (for drinking and preparing food only) at the camp sites at the end of each stage.  Bottled water will also be provided at each check-point throughout the race course. During the race week, all participants will stay in one campsite at the end of each stage. Camps could be in local schools, tents, dormitories or hotel. Toilet facilities and electricity are available at every campsite.  Personal belongings that are not needed by the participants during the race week will be transported from the opening hotel to the final hotel.

Award Ceremony

The Award Ceremony, which includes a buffet-style dinner, will take place at the scenic Sibebe Resort on Sunday, September 12th. 

On Monday, Sept 13th participants may either leave on their own or stay for an extension program. Transport to the departure airports can be arranged by the organizer.
