Date

The event starts on Venerdi, 13 febbraio and finishes on Saturday, 21 febbraio 2026.  All runners meet in the designated hotel in São Tomé.

All participants will be picked-up from São Tomé International Airport, before being shuttled to the designated hotel.

The Race

The race starts at the largest plantation of São Tomé "Roca Agostinho Neto"and will finish at the equator line on the small island Ilheu das Rolas.

The race course is projected to be 200km held in 6 stages with a total elevation gain of 6.000m and 130km in 6 stages with a total elevation gain of 3.000m.

The 200km and 130km race will start and finish at the same location, just that the 130km run a short cut every stage.

Mandatory equipments

The participants are required to bring all the mandatory equipment and food supply as required by the race organizer (see attached equipment list).

Each participant has to carry his/ her mandatory racing equipment during the race (day pack only!) The list of mandatory equipment has been reduced to the minimum!

Food and personal belongings packed in one bag, not exceeding 10kg in weight, will be transported from camp to camp.

Logistics

GlobalLimits provides the camp infrastructure and cold/ warm water (for drinking and preparing food only) at the camp sites at the end of each stage.  Bottled water will also be provided at each check-point throughout the race course. During the race week, all participants will stay in one campsite at the end of each stage.  Tents and toilet facilities are available at every campsite (no mattresses).  Personal belongings that are not needed by the participants during the race week (one bag per participant), will be transported from the opening designated hotel in São Tomé to the final hotel on the island Ilheu das Rolas.

The entire logistics for the 200km and the 130km race are the same. All participants stay at the same camps.

Award Ceremony

The Award Ceremony, which includes a buffet-style dinner, will take place in the only hotel on the island Ilheu das Rolas on Friday, 20 febbraio. One night of accommodation with full board in the same hotel is included in the race package.

On Saturday, 21 febbraio, participants may either leave on their own, stay for an extension program (see recommended offers) or choose the complimentary transportation option to São Tomé International Airport.
